Position:              BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Location:              Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary range:      5k-6k plus commission

 

Job Purpose:

  • To sell and advise customers and potential new customers across the United Arab Emirates and Middle East on the products and services of the training company.  

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and act as their account manager ensuring they are satisfied with the service.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Dealing with queries from new and existing customers

  • Produce quotes and proposals for existing and new customers.

  • Building relationships with customer and managing their expectations.

  • Selling products and services to existing customers and maintaining their accounts, through a variety of methods.

  • Designing and delivering sales presentations to customers.

  • Attending exhibitions and events to promote training products and services.

  • Cold calling potential customers, creating leads and generating new sales.

  • Working to sales plans and achieving sales targets.

  • Producing sales report, projections and plans to the Academic Director.

  • To ensure all work/tasks/procedures/documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001

 

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Must have proficient knowledge of the training industry in Abu Dhabi and other emirates, particularly in the oil & gas and government industry.

  • Previous sales experience in the oil, gas and power generation industry would be advantageous. 

  • Must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.

  • Must be confident and assertive with customers, whilst ensuring excellent customer service skills are maintained.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are also required to ensure objectives and deadlines are met whilst ensuring the integrity of the Company.

  • Good knowledge of spreadsheets and reporting computer systems is essential. All round appreciation and understanding of Information Technology including hardware, software and networking arrangements.

  • Must be flexible, with the ability to travel and preferably with UAE driving license
