About the Event

NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate (REF:APIXNFC001) Who Should Attend? Individuals with specific responsibility for managing fire safety within the workplace who require a nationally recognised qualification to demonstrate competence

Course Objectives To provide a formal vocational qualification in fire safety, examined to NVQ level 3.

Course Description A 5 day course covering all aspects of health and safety, with the first week concentrating on health and safety management systems and the second week on fire safety and risk management.

Pre-requisites There are no specific pre- requisites for this course, although IOSH Managing Safely is a useful foundation. Candidates must be able to apply themselves to short essay- style written assessments.

Course Outcome There will be 2 (2 hour) exam papers taken on the same day, NGC1 and FC1, with short bullet style and essay type questions. In addition to this, there is a work based practical report (FC2) (approx 1000 words) to complete.
