About the Event
MK VIe MAINTENANCE
Course Introduction:
The Mark VIe new GE gas turbine control system consists of a modular and expandable platform, built in microprocessor modules, it is designed to provide a small core of basic control functions that can be expanded in increments to provide various levels, of control, protection and monitoring of the turbine, the auxiliary systems, the driven load equipment such as generator, compressors and pumps, the speedtronic provides Fault tolerant control system, also interfacing the speedtronic with DCS provides excellent tools for remote control system.
In this 5 days course (participant who are already familiar with fundamentals of GE gas turbine control system) will be provided with operation skills for Mark VIe, software modification and advanced functions, some of the topics to be discussed in this course are, generating signals, customizing software, adding timers and counters. This course will provide the knowledge required to properly maintain your Mark™ VIe keeping your units available and reliable.
