About the Event

Overview:

PLC Training is designed to instruct electrical control professionals on how to successfully integrate a PLC into actual day-to-day industrial electrical processes.

It doesn’t only deals with the hardware and software, but all the surrounding systems that must be compatible to achieve a safe and reliable control system.

The training course is generic in nature and applies to all types and manufacturers.

PLC Training is also designed to help delegates keep abreast of the latest PLC technologies and techniques available in this area, this tutorial offers an excellent

opportunity for delegates to ask specific questions and exchange ideas relating to their own applications.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the course the trainee will be able to:

  • Define      the main applications on the PLC and differentiate      between PLC and other control systems.
  • Recognize      the PLC hardware and be able to install it.
  • SIMATIC      S7-400: Overview, The      S7 - 400 Racks, Symmetrical and Asymmetrical      Multicomputing, and Centralized Configuration
  • Start,      Stop and restart PLC, install and uninstall PLC memory as      well as recognize the faults indicators of the PLC.
  • Define      the hardware configuration in the SIMATIC manager software.
  • Use      the basic bit-instructions for handling digital signals.
  • Use      the software environment to trace the running program and finding faults.
  • Build      an application depending on the last knowledge.
  • Create      a link between the PLC and SCADA from Siemens.
